Broomfield Hospital, Essex

The hospital is near the Blackwater estuary where we photographed water rippled sand and mud as a starting point for the design of the amber acid-etched areas. Viewed from the inside the dichroic glass squares are highly coloured and throw dappled light into the interior. From the garden outside the window creates a glittering feature in the wall of the building.
